Bureau voor Materiaal Ecologie is an Amsterdam based research studio developing building ma terials using passive/low-tech techniques and local [waste] materials. The corrugated plastic sheeting and woven plastic cable are products made from reclaimed street-plastics that they will discuss and make during the event. The passive oven, made from locally available materials, melts PP and PE plastics into various forms, to be used in the building of the centre.
